Julie and I have just gotten back from an amazing trip to the northern Oregon coast. Wow! We left Friday around 3pm and made it to Spokane WA. We stopped on the way at the fruit stands and once we got into Or state we stopped at the state parks. What great ways to get a stretch of the legs and keep the dogs well exercised. The second night found us in the coastal forest 20 miles in land in the state park of Nehalem River State Park. Cool place, but we had the yearning for the beach and headed off that way early next morning.
Once we were settled in the campground we headed out for the water and the sun. The weather was great and the town of Manzanita had not changed a bit. Marrios pizza was great and the bakery we loved from last year was there in a new location.
Our days went by too fast and the great weather was great except for one rainy day which was spent in the trailer playing cards and watching movies. The time went by to fast, but what a great way to spend the week with your lovely wife.
